Be picked at the airport and have a breakfast depending on arrival time before you depart to Explore the best of Kenya’s Safaris. You will be given a tour brief of the safari and then be driven to north past the equator through rocky and histrionic landscape to the northern frontier district with lunch en-route. Continue with your drive to the semiarid Samburu national reserve.
On arrival you will head for an evening game drive which may offer you with the sighting of buffalo, lion, leopard, cheetah and other plains game. Species of game unique to Samburu game reserve include the beisa oryx, the long-necked Gerenuk, Grevy's zebra, reticulated giraffe and the blue sharked Somali ostrich. After your game drive you will return to your lodge for dinner and overnight

On this day after your breakfast you will depart with packed lunch that will work on your picnic day as you experience a full day game drive in Samburu game reserve. Game drive will be in two sessions, one in the morning and the other in the afternoon with your picnic lunch break in the reserve. The park is also home to the third of Kenya's giraffe species - the rare Reticulated Giraffe (only found in the Northern parks). This too will give you an opportunity so see the blue-legged Somali Ostrich, long-necked Gerenuk gazelle and the straight-horned Beisa Oryx antelope. In the evening after your game drive return to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

After early breakfast depart for Lake Nakuru with game. You will then drive towards southern direction with a brief stopover at the equator with lunch enroute. At the equator, locals do a water demonstration to qualify the position of the equator and for a small tip you could be awarded an 'equator Certificate'. You will then drive to the Thompsons falls for a photo-stop then down into the great rift valley.
As you ascend the eastern wall of the rift Valley, lush coffee and tea plantations reveal themselves and your driver-guides will give you a brief talk about coffee farming in Kenya. On arrival you will head for game drive in Lake Nakuru national park. Later in the evening you will be transferred to your hotel for dinner and overnight.

After your breakfast you will depart for Masai Mara reserve through Narok town with lunch en route, upon arrival you will have some rest/nap and later have evening walk in reserve to experience the Masai culture. Masai Mara is the land of the Masai culture/tribe, proud young Masai warrior-nomads with funny plaited hair, red cloaks, and spears, will surely challenge your curiosity. The reserve is a destination of your dreams, complete with wild animals grazing in best rolling landscape and gentle hills with acacia woodlands. Later head back for dinner and overnight

After an early breakfast, proceed for a morning game drive in the Masai Mara a place where wildebeest migration take place, Maasai Mara Game Reserve is a great wildlife destination located on the floor of Kenya’s Great Rift Valley. It is famous for its exceptional wildlife that includes high densities of lion prides, leopards, cheetah and the great annual migration of wildebeest, zebras, and Thomson’s gazelles, from the Serengeti between July and October.
Exploring Masai Mara through the Basecamp allows our guests to experience a variety of different safari activities to make their trips even more memorable.
