Murchison falls is mostly known for the famous falls which are the strongest falls in the world, where the Nile squeezes through an eight meter gorge and then plunges down to a an mighty amazing cascade which finally flows into a calm river again. Murchison falls is also the largest conserved area which is a habitat to 76 different species of mammals and 457 birds which makes it a prime unique destination.

Detailed Tour ( 4-days )

Set off to Murchison Falls National park, this park is one of the most interesting destinations to visit while in Uganda, it is well known for its wildlife, beautiful scenery and landscape. Our first stopover at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary which is the only home to the rhinos in the wild in Uganda for a rhino tracking experience. This is the opportunity to get closer to these rhinos, giving you a perfect opportunity for photographs. 

After this amazing experience, go for lunch break at Amuka and later proceed to Murchison falls National Park and check in at the Lodge for dinner and overnight.

Wake up early for breakfast and then proceed for a game drive in the park in search for animals before the sun rises and they retreat. Expect to see a variety of species such as elephants, lions, giraffes and if lucky the elusive leopards. This will be a slow paced game drive so that you get to meet as many animals as possible without a rush and later return to the lodge for your midday lunch meal. 

After your lunch, then proceed for the boat cruise to the bottom of the falls. You will have the opportunity to see different animal such as the hippos, crocodiles, elephants and buffaloes in the water or at the water edges.

Wake up early and after a quick breakfast driver to Budongo Forest (Kaniyo Pabidi) with packed lunches for the Chimpanzee Tracking experience, which is in a natural rainforest with one of the oldest mahogany tree. Not only do you get to see the Chimpanzees but also explore the canopied forest to its fullest as you have an encounter with different monkeys and bird species at the most spectacular morning. Later on return to the lodge to refresh and relax. 

Later in the afternoon, head out for the evening game drive and also enjoy the spectacular sun sets in the wild.

After a luxurious breakfast, check out of the lodge and drive to the top of the falls to see the spectacular river Nile exploding violently and forming very powerful water fall. After transfer back to Kampala/Entebbe and drop off at your desired destination. (Lunch en – route at Kabalega diner).

Payment Terms

A deposit of 40%-50% is required when booking this safari depending on the product to be booked. final payment will be required no later than 45-50 days prior departure. For any bookings made within mentioned days of departure, full safari fees, fares/amount will be charged upon booking.
