This safari combines wildlife, Gorilla and Chimpanzee trekking adventures in just 7 days. It provides you with an opportunity to experience the most diversified destinations (parks) and the best tourist routes hence encountering the rare species in the Africa’s wildernesses

Detailed Tour ( 7-days )

Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport, our driver guide will receive you and transfer to the Hotel in Entebbe / Kampala. The safari guide and our client liaison will brief you about the safari. Depending on your time of arrival and if time permits, there a few optional activities you can participate in such as Sunset cruise on Lake Victoria or Kampala city tour.

After breakfast, start the drive to Kibale Forest NP, driving to the Western part of Uganda taking about +5hrs. You will traverse through green countryside and past traditional homesteads and farms with spectacular sightseeing.  

Upon arrival at the lodge, check in, have lunch, after lunch visit Bigod Wetland where you will take on a guided walk through the Swamp that gives you an opportunity to see a wide range of flora and fauna, a variety of butterflies, birds and other insects.

Overnight: Kyaninga Lodge/ Primates lodge/Kibale forest


Wake up for an early breakfast and then transfer to Kanyanchu Tourist Centre for the briefing and after set out for the chimpanzee tracking. Tracking chimps in Kibale forest NP, you are assured over 90% chance of viewing chimps.

This park is most noted for its primate’s population, it protects a habituated population of Common chimpanzee as well as several species of Central African monkey including the red–tailed monkey.  

After Lunch, transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Game Park, have an evening game drive en route, check in to lodge for dinner and overnight.

Early this morning as the sun is creeping up over the savannah you head out in your safari vehicle for an early game drive before the animal retreat from the sun. A bush breakfast will be served to you overlooking the wilderness of the savannah. The rest of the morning can be spent exploring the savannah wilderness in your specially designed safari Vehicle. 

Drive back to the lodge for your Mid-day lunch, relax for a while and later go for a leisurely boat cruise along the spectacular Kazinga Channel. You will encounter herds of elephant, buffalos and antelopes, families of warthogs, large groups of hippos, and crocodiles basking on the shore and a variety of birds, including many migratory species. The cruise also provides a remarkable view of the beautiful Mweya Peninsula and life in local fishing villages set along the banks.

After breakfast, start the journey to Bwindi through the Ishasha Sector where you will have a short game drive and if lucky, you will see the tree climbing lions.

The trip takes you through the south west local communities and livelihoods, arriving in Bwindi forest with views of the magnificent greenery and the rolling hills of Kigezi which connects to the Bwindi Forest.

After an early breakfast at the lodge, travel to National Park Headquarters to meet your guides for the day and begin your gorilla tracking experience. Experienced guides and trackers will accompany your party on an early morning trek into the dense rain forest on the mountain slopes.  

You will have an opportunity to be within meters of these magnificent gentle giants, sharing in their daily lives and experiencing their day-to-day activities. This is an experience you won’t soon forget! Following the trek, return to your accommodation and, if time allows, take a guided community walk.

After a luxurious breakfast at the lodge, depart Bwindi Forest National Park and drive back to Kampala/Entebbe (lunch en route) for your connecting international flight and if not, our driver will drop you off at your desired destination. End of services.

Payment Terms

A deposit of 40%-50% is required when booking this safari depending on the product to be booked. final payment will be required no later than 45-50 days prior departure. For any bookings made within mentioned days of departure, full safari fees, fares/amount will be charged upon booking.
