This 3 day / 2 night fly-safari, is a fabulous safari – specially designed for those who are short of time, but want to see the rare and endangered Mountain Gorillas.
This safari includes flights over the beautiful highlands of Uganda boasting incredible scenery. There is a drive from the airstrip via local villages to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest – from where you will be able enjoy a thrilling visit with the Mountain Gorillas.
After two nights here, you drive back to the airstrip and return to Entebbe. Luxury accommodation, professional guides and custom made safari vehicles - this safari will be the trip of a lifetime.

Upon arrival at Kisoro, met by a Route Wild drive guide and driven to your lodge in the area of Bwindi Forest National Park.
The area, one of the few large expanses of forest in East Africa, where lowland and mountain habitats meet, contains a dense ground cover of herbs, vines, and shrubs, Bwindi is one of the richest ecosystems in East Africa. The park contains almost one half of the world’s population of the endangered Mountain Gorilla, making it an extremely valuable conservation site, and acts as an important catchment area for many rivers, supplying water for agriculture in the surrounding region.

Overnight:Chameleon Hill /Clouds Mountain lodge or Rushaga Gorilla lodge/Gorilla Safari lodge.
Following breakfast at the lodge, depart to the National Park Headquarters where you will meet your guides for the day and begin your gorilla tracking experience. Experienced guides and trackers will accompany your party on an early morning trek into the dense rain forest on the mountain slopes.
You will have an opportunity to be within meters of these magnificent gentle giants, sharing in their daily lives and experiencing their day-to-day activities. This is an experience you won’t soon forget! Following the trek, return to your accommodation and, if time allows, take a guided afternoon forest or community walk.

Please note: Tracking may be fairly strenuous with treks up to six hours or longer, so prepare accordingly, also, sightings cannot be guaranteed. However viewing success rates are over 90%.
Following breakfast at the lodge, depart Bwindi Forest National Park and travel to Kisoro for your scheduled return flight to Entebbe for your connecting international flight and if not, our driver will pick you up from the airport and drop off at desired destination.
